About One Piece

One Piece is the modern day Odyssey. It is one of the longest running manga series of all time. Creator Eiichiro Oda started drawing the manga in August 1997. It is published by Shueisha in Weekly Shonen Jump. At the time of writing (19 November 2025) the manga has 1165 chapters and the Anime has 1150 episodes. I strongly recommend everyone who has not yet started reading/watching this series to start now. Since the manga is now in its final saga, this will be the last chance for new readers to experience the series without being spoiled about the ending. The experience of reading the manga weekly is one of a kind and engaging with the online community every week is exhilarating! Take it from someone who has experienced many fictional worlds. There is no world like One Piece!
